beautiful bedroom, excellent stay
beautiful settingcharming characterrelaxed stay
the grounds are fine and presented a beautiful, peaceful setting. the manor house itself is full of charm and character. the service felt attentive, so the stay was easy and relaxed.
the hot tub water was lukewarm. i mentioned this at reception when i checked out. i was curious to see how much they felt we should be compensated given the main selling point for the room wasn't functional. they refunded me £30.

the breakfast room presented a cute atmosphere, and the food was of great quality. the staff were very friendly and efficient. the squadron bar offered poor service, and servers seemed more interested in social media posts.

There were enormous chairs in the foyer and fine gold hands on the front doors. It felt grand. the golf course runs by the long driveway. guests can enjoy petanque, croquet, and chess in the garden.

all rooms were decorated to perfection. the beautiful bedroom was fine, and we felt a 'wow' moment upon entering. the pillows were divine, but the mattress was slightly too hard for my personal preference.

the food really disappointed me. the presentation was poor and it tasted like pub grub, but the portions were small! i had soup served in a small jug. it was poured onto a cold plate! the cheese soufflé also came on a cold plate, which really wasn't good enough. i don't think i'll be rushing back.

i loved the beautiful grounds. the staff were friendly to all my needs. my room included a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom.
the noise was noticeable during the day. also, the spa was under refurbishment, so i missed out on those amenities. finally, the restaurant menu lacked variety.
